You'll have noticed I haven't posted anything on .Bernault last weeks. Partly because I'm going through some busier times, but there's another thing. I've been experiencing an obstruction by writing in another language. It just keeps me from posting on a more regular basis. Being able to express yourself in architecture is crucial, so it is when writing. At the beginning, there was some kind of kick, knowing .Bernault is getting visitors from all over the world (more than 40 nationalities at this moment). Now, I'm becoming more down to earth and want to choose for higher quality content.
That's why I'm making a switch to my mother language. But don't run away! For my loyal readers , I'll add translation links at the top of every article. Google Translate, which has been nominated for the best online translator, doesn't offer Dutch yet, so I'll be using Babelfish. It's generally known that these translations can be very poor, but it's still possible to get the context easily.
This way, writing for .Bernault will be more fun for me. Another important reason for the switch is have an extra focus on local architecture and architectural events in Belgium.
I hope you don't mind too much. Anyway, architecture is mainly a visual language. Pictures are universal and speak for themselves. Keep enjoying your time here on .Bernault.
